    A new wellness festival focused on wellness for the wellness industry looking at people, the planet, health and sustainable economics will launch at a tranquil countryside spa in Cheshire this summer.

    Organizers of SpaFest, an annual wellness festival for the spa and wellness industry, have announced the launch of ‘SpaFest Gives Back’ at The Carden Park Estate.

    Focusing on the planet, health and sustainable economics, SpaFest was founded by Amanda Winwood and Made for Life Organics in 2017, with support and partnership from Sarah Camilleri, Founder of European Spa magazine as media sponsor. The premise of SpaFest is to raise money to reinvest in events that give back to the community.

    The inaugural SpaFest Gives Back will offer 40 people going through treatment for cancer and 40 people who are supporting those people, to attend a nurturing, supportive wellness day at the Spa at Carden.

    Emma Pridding, Spa Director at Spa at Carden Park said;

    “The whole team at the Spa at Carden is delighted to be working with SpaFest to host the first SpaFest Gives Back in June. We’ve worked closely with the SpaFest team to create a wonderful nurturing and supportive wellness day for our deserving visitors; we’re looking forward to welcoming both the guests who are going through treatment for cancer and those who are helping to support them. The day itself will be a real treat; with everything from wellbeing workshops and a healthy eating masterclass from our Executive Chef Graham Tinsley, MBE, to taster sessions of Touch Therapy from the Made for Life Touch Therapy specialists. To have it all taking place at the Carden Park is a real honour.”

    SpaFest Gives Back features a line-up of inspiring speakers, paired with the inspirational setting, team and vision of The Spa at Carden. This event is a partnership between SpaFest and Carden Park, supported by the British Beauty Council, SATCC (Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care) and UKSA (UK Spa Association) to spearhead and innovate change. During the day guests will receive a goody bag of products and enjoy products and therapies from Gharieni, Made for Life Organics, Murad and Therapy Teas from Camellia’s Tea House.

    To celebrate positivity and optimism, The Giving Back to Life SpaFest Awards will present awards for Compassion, Innovation, Courage, Leadership, and Inspiration with spa prizes donated by Carden Park and Made for Life Organics. Guests can choose to upgrade their day with an Evening Twilight Spa session which includes spa access, sharing platter and a glass of bubbles. Jamie Edwards, Founder of Trained Brain and Strut Camp will open the evening with a Strut Camp offering informal coaching sessions during the evening to empower and uplift.

    Amanda Winwood, founder of SpaFest added:

    “We are delighted to be hosting the first SpaFest gives back at Carden Park. Our aligned values around sustainability and supporting the local community to improve health and wellbeing make Carden Park the perfect venue to co-host this inaugural event. Together, we will be welcoming people living with cancer to experience a variety of workshops and Touch Therapy to improve their health.”

    Tickets can be applied via the Spafest website, with tickets priced at £25.00 each, a special discounted price for the event. There is also the option of the Twilight spa event with life coaching which costs £45 per person. Visit www.spa-fest.com The Spa at Carden | Spa Hotels Cheshire | Carden Park
