Chester is gearing up to become a fashion hub this summer, with designers and fashion visionaries from all over the world coming together to showcase their latest creations with sustainability in mind during Porsche Centre Chester Cheshire Fashion Week 2024. The event will feature both established and emerging designers who champion sustainable fashion practices.
Porsche Centre Chester is sponsoring the summer sustainable fashion week as part of its initiatives to become carbon neutral by 2030. The fashion week event aims to highlight Chester as a unique fashion destination while also supporting Cheshire’s high streets by featuring the latest store trends. From the 13th to the 15th of June 2024, a number of venues across Chester, including Chester Cathedral and the Abode Hotel Chester, will host the event. The main focus of this year’s event is sustainability, and designers and brands will share their vision of promoting sustainable fashion practices through their clothing designs.
Porsche Centre Chester, Cheshire College South and West fashion retail and fashion design, talent agency Sintillate Talent, and hotel chain Abode Hotels Chester are among the brands partnering for this year’s event. Several renowned international fashion designers are sponsoring and partnering with this year’s event. The list includes the award-winning Irish designer Original Ireland, Nigerian designers Ololade Atelier and Shawler Couture, and acclaimed UK regional designers such as Elie Bahar Fashion Designer, Misty Couture, Doyenne The Label, Gemma Grao Artist, Aroma Staples, The Sensualist, Rafael Azevedo, Olivia Eden, and the retail fashion house White Stuff.
According to Claire Namukolo Raven, director of Cheshire Fashion Week, Cheshire Fashion Week is positioning Chester as a fashion destination that attracts global attention by hosting the biggest fashion week in the north outside of London Fashion Week. Our event benefits the city annually with visitors who visit local restaurants, hotels and bars adding to footfall. Cheshire Fashion Week attracts national fashion enthusiasts and international talent every year, bringing London and other UK cities to the North. Visitors from Ireland, Nigeria, and the United States are expected to attend this year’s event, which will focus on sustainable fashion practices and promote the latest trends while supporting local businesses.

As an exciting addition to this year’s fashion event, the Fashion Week Awards will be held to celebrate talent in fashion and creativity. The Lord Mayor of Chester will be in attendance, making it an excellent opportunity to showcase skills and be acknowledged for hard work.
