A new bar and restaurant in Chester, Watergate Street, has taken a new approach, allowing guests to bring their own food or get a takeaway delivered – while they look for an in-house chef.

As a great place to eat, drink and play in Chester, the Assembly bar & restaurant officially opened on the 17th of May and is ideally situated at 55 Watergate Street, perfect for a day out as well as a night out.

Independently owned, Assembly embraces and promotes locally sourced produce whenever possible, and their wine selection is filled with the most delicious organic, natural, and biodynamic wines available.

Adding Assembly to the culinary scene in the City enhances the already vibrant cafe and bar culture in Cheshire.

In a statement on their social media page, a bar & restaurant spokesperson said:

We are officially open! The sun is shining and Watergate Street is looking like a great spot for a drink or two.

Whilst we’re looking for a chef to complete our team we’ll be allowing you to bring your own food or get a takeaway delivered. We have plates and cutlery!
