Carden Park Hotel is delighted to announce the opening of its new sculpture garden and exhibition which opened on August 31st, 2021. Curated by Grant Ford, BBC’s Antiques Roadshow expert and Fine Art curator, the Sculpture Garden is set against the stunning backdrop of Cheshire’s 1000 acre luxury resort.
A beautiful addition to Carden Park’s ambitious growth strategy, the Sculpture Garden further positions Carden Park Hotel as the leading resort destination in the North of England. With millions of pounds of investment, Carden Park’s private owners have continued to invest in and develop the hotel, grounds, and spa; finding new methods to delight their guests.
Carden Park has been transformed with the opening of the award-winning Spa at Carden, The Vines fine dining restaurant and the new aerial ropes course Vertigo at Carden, as well as a new Leisure Club and extensive redevelopments of communal areas within the resort. Carden Park is also home to two championship golf courses, and a vineyard produces 6,000 bottles of Carden Park Estate Reserve each year.
Director & General Manager, Hamish Ferguson said:
Sculpture Garden will be a new destination for art and beautiful design, free to enter and open to the public. Sculptural works by world-class artists can be seen at the Sculpture Garden as well as inside the Carden Park Hotel.
Every visit will be a new experience, with changing exhibits throughout the year, suitable for the whole family. Carden Park’s visitors and residents can enjoy a slower-paced cultural experience while surrounded by the stunning views of the Cheshire countryside as outdoor activities continue to be hugely popular.
To assist visitors, Carden Park has provided descriptive signage with QR codes added, that will take those who want to know more to a website with additional information about the artist and sculptures.
Each unique piece will be available to buy through Grantfordltd.com, with prices starting from £1,000 to £320,000 (ex. VAT)
