An event designed to raise awareness of blood cancer took place on Thursday 24th November at Whitchurch-based Holts Kitchen Design Experts, raising more than £150 for the company’s chosen charity, Blood Cancer UK.

The festive fundraiser included a live demonstration from Anna Flora, a local florist from Nantwich, who welcomed guests with festive drinks and nibbles before demonstrating her festive creations in the Holts showroom. Locally sourced foraged flowers and foliage were used to make festive table arrangements during the demonstration.

Furthermore, to raise over £150 for Blood Cancer UK, the event also raised awareness about the disease, which is why Kitchen Design Experts have chosen the charity as their official nominated charity.

Having supported Blood Cancer UK for many years, the company continues to do so after relocating to Whitchurch’s Park View Business Centre. The family-run business pledged to donate a percentage of profits, along with setting up a GoFundMe page to encourage customer donations.

A total of nearly £500 has already been raised through the site by Holts Kitchen Design Experts, but they continue to work hard to raise as much money as possible.
