Cheshire Fashion Week is bringing the runway back to the region this September, welcoming designers from across the globe and featuring an exciting new collaboration with the luxury car partner, Porsche Centre Wilmslow. The event has confirmed a partnership with Porsche Centre Wilmslow as part of its wider growth strategy to expand the event’s footprint and prestige across Cheshire.
The main showcase will take place at Chester Cathedral on 5 September 2026, with leading designers expected from Ireland, Nigeria, Portugal, and the United States.
Opening the evening’s runway presentations is British high-end retailer White Stuff, which will debut its latest women’s and menswear collections. Following closely is US-based label Unblemished by Cherice, offering a fresh take on modern and classic vintage-inspired styles.
International talent takes centre stage throughout the schedule. Irish favourite Original Ireland returns with a new collection of timeless designs steeped in the nation’s cultural heritage, while Portuguese couturier ILZA will present bespoke womenswear and menswear collections.
This year’s overarching theme is international fashion, bringing together returning names and rising stars, each showcasing their unique creative vision. Handcrafted designer Mihaela Dowman will unveil intricately detailed pieces, while Pearl-Marie Creations delivers a bold Nigerian fusion of eclectic contemporary couture. Fine art and conceptual wearable sculpture will also feature, courtesy of designer Liam Brandon Murray.
British craftsmanship shines through Exclusively by Michael Adam, who will present impeccably tailored premium evening wear. The event culminates with a spotlight on intricate bridal design, featuring Angel Cuomo’s Gothic-inspired embroidered gowns, before a show-stopping finale from Andrea Harrison Designs.
By blending international creative talent with high-end commercial brand partnerships, Cheshire Fashion Week continues to cement its reputation as a key player in the UK fashion calendar.
Claire Namukolo Raven, chief executive of Cheshire Fashion Week, commented, “Our event attracts global talent, media attention, and significant footfall, all of which are vital to keeping the Northern fashion industry vibrant. As we enter our seventh year, we’re proud to be building a regional fashion community that operates independently of council funding while bringing visitors into the city. Our goal is to reshape the narrative around Northern fashion, which has long been under-represented compared to London. Our recent visit to Malta Fashion Week underscores our dedication to forging international connections ahead of our 2026/2027 expansion. This year’s line-up proves that the North is a serious fashion destination for the global market.”
