Carden Park Hotel has announced that its brand-new £1 million elite football pitch is now complete and available for bookings, marking a major milestone in the resort’s ongoing investment in world-class sports facilities.
The new 105m x 68m professional-standard pitch provides football clubs, international teams and elite athletes with a high-performance training environment designed for year-round use. The new facility complements Carden Park’s existing football pitch, further strengthening the resort’s reputation as a leading destination for professional training camps and sporting teams.
The pitch features a stitched hybrid grass surface installed by leading sports turf specialists Limonta Sport, using its innovative VERDEMIX hybrid grass technology. The system combines natural grass with synthetic fibres stitched into the playing surface, offering enhanced durability, stability and safety while extending the number of hours the pitch can be used compared with traditional natural turf.
An advanced drainage system, automated stadium-standard irrigation and precision engineering have also been incorporated to help maintain optimum playing conditions throughout the year, whatever the weather.
