Blue Planet Aquarium
The Blue Planet Aquarium is a marine and freshwater aquarium located by the Cheshire Oaks retail and leisure complex in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England. The aquarium was opened by the Queen in July 1998, it was the biggest aquarium in the UK at the time of opening but currently boasts as the biggest in North West England. Blue Planet Aquarium has sadly closed its doors in response to Cheshire being put into tier3 on 26th December 2020 in a bid to reduce the number of Covid-19 cases across the country.
