City Wide Celebration – Cheshire Fashion Week
As part of Chester Heritage Festival and In celebration of this summer’s citywide celebration, Cheshire Fashion Week returns with a visually captivating contemporary presentation featuring live models to create a powerful cinematic experience with an open-to-the-public presentation. A collection of clothing designed to interpret Chester’s fashion history will be curated by designers who will rework and echo-friendly the designs and display them on models at Chester Town Hall, a beautiful civic and historic building. Fashion garment collections from every decade will be displayed with captivating visual presentations. Cheshire Fashion Week Arts – Fashionweekarts is curating this project.
The Events Schedule
11:30 am – 3:30 pm
The Chester Grosvenor Museum costume department’s collection of historically curated clothing will be filtered through a powerful modernity as part of an exhibition that will run throughout the day and open to the general public. Visitors can explore the stories behind each clothing piece, tour Chester Town Hall, and celebrate Chester’s fashion heritage.
11:30 am – 1:30 pm
Talks / Education – Attend a talk and demonstration by fashion designers and artists and get tips on fashion drawings, fabric selection, sewing techniques, makeup, hairstyles during different eras, and art photography throughout the session. We hope to include people from all backgrounds and educational levels, including those with alopecia, in this session. Guests of all ages are welcome, but those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

City Wide Celebration – Cheshire Fashion Week
A visually captivating contemporary presentation with live models by Cheshire Fashion Week Arts aimed at delivering a powerful cinematic feel as clothes designed to interpret history by participating designers and artists will be displayed on live models in order to create compelling visual experiences showcasing Chester’s fashion garment collections from every decade. The clothes will be displayed live in a contemporary art exhibition where images and films will be projected on a screen and models present live. This project is being curated by Cheshire Fashion Week Arts – Fashionweekarts.
