Winter has arrived and ‘Cheshire Fashion Week’ is returning to Chester. Having survived the pandemic, Cheshire will be the first county in the North to host Fashion Week in its traditional sense.
This year’s Cheshire Fashion Week will bring fashion brands, models and beauty professionals from all over the UK to Chester. At this annual event, fashion brands, independent boutiques, and designers from across the industry will showcase their fall/winter collections at the Chester Cathedral and Jaguar car showrooms from November 05th to November 06th 2021.
During Cheshire Fashion Week, independent retailers showcase how consumers can achieve runway-like looks at home by promoting a range of fashion and beauty looks. There is a statement of inclusivity and body positivity in this year’s fashion week. The 2021 fashion shows will feature models with alopecia, as well as models of all ages and body types walking the catwalks.

The very first supporters of Cheshire Fashion Week were models and brands from across the county. The fast-growing event has since attracted models, independent brands and beauty professionals from across the country, including London, Leeds, and further afield. As organisers, it makes us feel proud of our county and bringing such an event to Chester, when brands travel to Cheshire from all around the UK. To make Cheshire a fashion destination, it needed a fashion week to promote the county’s fashion industry, and Cheshire Fashion Week has proven that the county’s fashion industry deserves the attention. Claire added, “CHESHIRE FASHION WEEK “will offer a unique customer audience, both locally and internationally. Over the course of our two-day event, our platform is able to leverage thousands of leads to our retail stores and hospitality venues.
Whenever there is a fashion week, there is also an auto sponsor involved. As with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in London and Milan, Mercedes-Benz is one of the biggest sponsors of New York Fashion Week.
Cheshire Fashion Week, in partnership with auto sponsor Inchcape Jaguar Chester, will see the local fashion industry bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected businesses, independent retailers, designers, and the broader fashion industry.
Which brands and stars should you be on the lookout for during Cheshire Fashion Week 2021?
Cheshire Fashion Week’s Opening Night will take place on the 5th November 2021 at Inchcape Jaguar Chester. Guests will be welcomed in style with a drink at the reception, compliments of Three Wrens Gin, based in Chester, Cheshire. They are a family run business committed to sustainability and are rated as one of the world’s best gins.
TV Commentator and star of “The Apprentice” Joanna Jarjue will make an appearance on the fashion week opening night. Businesswoman and commentator Joanna Jarjue made her mark on The Apprentice’s 13th season and has a keen eye for fashion.
The opening at Inchcape Jaguar Chester will be a preview showcase of what to expect on the closing night the following day at Chester Cathedral and will feature luxury designers such as Graeme Ellisdon’s Osprey London. Leather, lifestyle, and the retail company has outlets all over the UK, including Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.
Its products include silks, scarves, seasonal coats made of sheepskin, gift sets, and home fragrances that are crafted by skilled craftspeople around the world.
There will be preview collection looks from independent brands such as Twin by Tare, Alexa Weatherby, Rose Riviera, Be+Positive and Romantic Nostalgia.
Businesses with low foot traffic will have the opportunity to increase store visits and footfall by participating in Cheshire Fashion Week’s ‘Best Dressed at Fashion Week’ competition. The Forge restaurant in Chester and Osprey London are giving away prizes as part of the contest.
Electrifying the night will be reality star JSKY, singer, songwriter, fashionista who hosted Channel 4’s hit body-positive show Naked Beach.
A fashion week — a catwalk — dedicated to supporting underrepresented designers and retailers, independent boutiques, the travel, hospitality sector in Chester and championing new talent in the fashion industry. Cheshire Fashion Week will certainly be an exciting event, concluding 2021 on a high note.
Despite Cheshire Fashion Week’s primary location being Chester, future events will be held in every county city in Cheshire by 2024, according to the organizers.
