Chester’s newest bridal boutique will WOW any modern bride

Chester’s beautiful new bridal boutique has recently opened and features a range of high-end designer collections well suited to the modern bride.

My Funny Valentine is located at 64 Northgate Street in Chester and offers bridal gowns by high-end designers like Pronovias, Marchesa for Pronovias, Luna Novias, Evie Young, and Madison James.

This month TGC visited the unique bridal boutique situated ideally in the prime location, next to the entrance of the New Northgate market on Northgate street and run by Chester local and former litigation solicitor Hanni Frankland-Roberts.

Bridal enthusiast Hanni offers brides a luxurious VIP bridal experience, catering to all brides regardless of their preferences, including romantic, bohemian and minimalist styles.

In a statement with TGC Hanni Frankland of My Funny Valentine Bridal said:

I am a complete bridal enthusiast and opening My Funny Valentine Bridal really has been a lifelong dream! My background is somewhat different to bridal, however, previously working as a litigation solicitor. I am Chester based and knew the city would be perfect for My Funny Valentine and the more modern bride! There is nothing I love more than promoting our beautiful city and of course testing out all the wonderful independent restaurants and bars, usually with our cockapoo Penelope!

Hanni added; We have been so busy and are so grateful for all of the brides who have visited us this last month. My Funny Valentine Bridal was started after I personally struggled to find a more modern and unique style of wedding dress when looking for my own gown. I, therefore, wanted to bring the more modern gowns and bridal designers to Chester, whilst also ensuring that the boutique offered a really personal and one to one service. I truly believe that shopping for your wedding dress is a once in a lifetime experience and having excellent customer service, in the most beautiful surroundings is part of the process every bride deserves.

Brides are offered a highly personalized service at the bridal shop with a hint of VIP service in their beautiful architect-designed studio. Dresses range from around £1,000 to £3,000 with the majority being around £1,500.

Whether you need a budget-friendly option or something more luxurious, any bride can take advantage of the boutique’s payment plan. They include a 10% discount for paying in full.

My Funny Valentine gives brides a sense of exclusivity. It’s a chance to find your dream dress by trying on several (although Hanni recommends no more than eight) and feel special with complete private use of the boutique. Alongside bridal gowns, the boutique also offers veils and hair accessories, including a bespoke veil service for brides who want a veil personalized to match their dress.

Shoppers at My Funny Valentine are exclusively by appointment, so please get in touch If you’re looking for that perfect wedding dress.

We recommend that you use the online booking form on the website www.mfvbridal.com to book, or follow MFV on Instagram to see their newest collections.
